James began the Doctoral program in Guitar Performance Studies at Northwestern University this past Fall, and now he is
ready to present his first recital. The program will be varied, including English composer Lennox Berkeley's Sonatina,
called "nearly a perfect piece" by Benjamin Britten and firmly established in the repertoire by Julian Bream. Also on the program is
Manuel Maria Ponce's impressions of four dances, Four Pieces. Click here for the
