These performances focus on works for the guitar by Chicago composers: some of the works
on the programs are new pieces from the last few years; others were composed over the last two decades. All are
gems of expression, and are not performed enough. Take this opportunity to hear a wide variety of Chicago music. Composers
featured are: Paul Failla, Kurt Westerberg, Zachary Seldess, Julia Miller, Rami Levin, Jesse Langen, Alan Cole, Cole Thornton, David Vayo,
Janice Misurell-Mitchell, Bjorn Berkhout, and Robert Lombardo.
