Events

James is a versatile guitarist. He has performed on Guitar Society concerts, New Music Festivals, local Concert series, weddings, and cocktail parties. He has also worked with New Music ensembles throughout Chicago, performing music that ranges the gamut from Renaissance dances to the German avant-garde.

And he has also worked with musicians from Northwestern University, accompanying voice students, harp ensembles, and mixed ensembles.

Wedding ceremonies and receptions as well as private cocktail parties at a home or restaurant are fun events for James. They provide an opportunity to mix the standard Classical guitar repertoire with Holiday songs, Popular music, and other requests.  Click here for a sample program.
